We are looking for a Payroll/Accounting Clerk to join our team. Payroll or accounting experience is preferred, but not required. A positive "can-do" attitude and desire to learn IS REQUIRED.
Candidate must have 1+ years experience processing payroll. ADP experience preferred. Person must also be well-organized with great attention to detail. Previous experience with union pay and fringe benefits would be a plus.
Payroll Specialists will be responsible for a variety of duties, including, but not limited to:
DESIRED SKILLS:
A desire to learn/acquire basic accounting skills is required.
Attention to detail
Able to meet daily payroll deadlines
Proficient in ten key
Typing and filing
Data entry
Able to multi-task while staying organized on a daily basis
Able to communicate with employees, vendors and customers in a positive manner
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of and skill in using computer software, including MS Word, Excel, and computerized accounting systems.
