I need someone with a strong background in C++ and an interest in gaming to help me create an "anti-carrier kinetic-kill" mod for an Indie PC game called Defcon. I have bought the source code to Defcon but am lacking in C++ coding skills. This game is entirely coded in C++ and compiles perfectly in Visual Studio 2008/2010 under WinXP with additional DirectX SDK includes/ libraries. I can compile it myself and make basic changes but now I'm looking to increase functionality.
Currently in the base game, silo units can go into nuclear launch mode and target not only city population but also target moving sea craft such as carriers. Once the nuke is fired its target is static, so if the fleet moves out of the way they will not get naval nuked. I would like to have a option to have the nuke recalculate target so that it can impact on fleet that are moving in the sea.
Very shortly I will update this with more detailed specification of this requirement with link to a sample of the source code so you can see if this is something you find feasible and are interested in doing...
