We are requiring a set of HLSL shaders that will work with Microsoft DirectX 9.0c for displaying the following elements with various display functionality: ● Points ● Lines ● Polygons ● Text ● Selected element glow highlighting The shaders cannot use OpenGL, GDI, or GDI+, but must use DirectX 9. We have provided a PDF document that fully details the shader requirements. Part of this project will be to develop a simple 3D viewing application in Microsoft C++ that can test all of the various aspects of the shaders being developed. There are several good Microsoft C++ Win32 applications that use DirectX 9.0c that are included with the Microsoft DirectX 9 SDK (software development kit). The developer can start with any of these sample applications for developing the test application. One particularly good 3D viewing sample application is the “Instancing” example that ships with the Microsoft DirectX 9 SDK. Complete source code for the entire project must be provided, including the test application and shaders. All source code that is developed should be documented with comments, along with good variable naming, and must be easy to understand. The shaders must be well designed and optimized for speed. Milestone payments must be matched with demonstrable progress in development of the shaders. Bids will only be considered with demonstrable examples showing good knowledge and expertise in Microsoft DirectX HLSL shaders and 3D graphics. Bids without previous examples and experience in HLSL shaders and 3D graphics WILL NOT be considered.

Hello, I do not really have experience with HLSL but I have a lot of experience with GLSL .. and as far as I know it is 90% the same .. just different syntax and basically you still working width the same device so from my developer standpoint there is no reason to care about HLSL or GLSL .. I can write shaders for GPUs .. And to prove am really expert with this check my portfolio .. there is a set of pictures from my own real-time rendering game engine .. All kinds of post-processing, layered materials, normal maps, PSSM shadows with filtering, HDR tonemapping/autoexposure/bloom, ray-marching SSAO, translucent materials, also vertex shader animations and the whole system is deferred rendered. I have also another project where I made photorealistic path-tracing renderer written in OpenCL. NOTE: freelancer is still showing that I have 0 reviews but that is not true .. check my profile.
