Cartoon Character - Mascot / Logo Design

I am looking for an artist to design a new logo and cartoon mascot for my company. LOGO: The logo should be modern and friendly, it could comprise of the words that make up the company name: "QuickSilver Creations", the initials, or something completely different. CHARACTER: The mascot character should be a fun, friendly representation of the company. I have the idea of a friendly robot in my head, but again this is all open to suggestion. The character will be used in fun advertising and on the site / prints, such as jokes based on the character's name "Quickie". The logo and character should complement each other and should be suitable for business cards, websites and other digital / print uses. Note: this project will most likely lead to more work for the artist chosen. DELIVERABLES: Both items can be in 2D and/or 3D and must be in either high resolution or vector based formats. If in 2D or static image, the design must include several poses which would be decided on based on the character type. Note that these designs must be unique and I must be granted exclusive ownership and rights to the work and all source materials. When bidding please include your cost per design (of BOTH items) and state what would be included in the deliverable.
