Need Logo design for manufacturer and reseller of parts for american V-twin motorcycles (like Big Dog Motorcycles, Ironhorse). Primary product, initially, will be complete motorcycle electrical systems, but we will branch out into custom-designed, as well as factory replacement, machined aluminum parts, fabricated steel parts, etc. My two initial thoughts for the logo were (1) to incorporate an electrical connector in the logo either as a background or to connect two letters and/or (2) use the head of wire cutters to form the "V" in V-twin. However, since we intend to branch into other areas of the motorcycle soon after launch this may not be a great idea unless it can be incorporated in a subtle way, while also incorporating some other design aspect(s) that point to other areas of the motorcycle (engine, handlebars, etc). I would like to use "VTC" acronym. So, perhaps, a logo with "VTC" atop "V-Twin Connections" may be good so we can use the acronym, the spelled-out name or both. Using a V-Twin engine for the "v" is overdone, so please avoid that. A silhouette of a american v-twin motorcycle (or pencil sketch) as a background may be OK but has also been used a lot in this industry. it is also difficult to draw one that either (1) can't be easily identified by pros in this industry as a (brand) bike or (2) looks silly because it doesn't look like a real bike. I am completely open to colors, fonts, etc. Thank you and I look forward to working with someone!
