NAVGTR is developing a web site that will allow development and publishing companies to post their press releases for approved journalists to access. The service provides a great convenience for gaming journalists who can get their information (or pointers to the information) in one place, rather than cluttering an inbox or facebook. Key features: 1. Tag based sorting of Feeds 2. Privacy Settings for various Form Elements on the Page (Meaning, would like to make certain elements like Contact information Membership based) 3. Press Release Submission - ability to submit press releases through a form with the option to link to game profiles, and automatic link to company profile 4. Custom Views based on User Login Information 5. Subscription/Membership Capability 6. Invitation Capabilities - The ability to invite users to the site based on pre-determined and randomly generated log-in codes, the ability for registered users to send invites to join the site 7. Notifications - The ability to set when and how often content notifications are delivered, including option for automated notifications of release date changes. 8. Product Profiles - Users can create a profile for each game product, including fields for developer, publisher, engine, platform, release date, genre, lifetime game revenue, and options for specific user-set periods of game revenue. 9. Company Profiles - logo and collection of product profiles Press releases will be submitted by companies through web forms to include title, subtitle, body, news category, photos or links, embargo dates, contact person, and more. Each of these items would have a privacy setting. Fields for company, character, franchise, trade show, game genre, and custom fields would generate tags. Users will be able to set notification limits based on each news category, contact person, and tag type. Criteria for company to use service (any of following): 1. previous product has been publicly released and reviewed by an outlet approved by the majority of stakeholders, or has a gdc choice, aias/dice, audio gang, or indiecade red carpet nomination 2. has a navgtr nomination 3. is a publicly traded company or has submitted articles of incorporation; processing fee will apply Criteria for journalist to use service: 1. approved annually by one or two developers/publishers, or 2. navgtr voter as of E3 2014 The public view of the site will show company logos, headlines, abstracts, and bodies based on privacy settings. Site will be installed to subdomain of existing site. Confidential brand name will be provided to winning bidder for inclusion in site design. In your response/bid, it must be absolutely clear that you read the project, looked at the file(s), and have something intelligent, clear, or informative to say about what you saw, or you will not be considered.
