Create a portrait/mural out of candy

I have a series of actual photographic portraits that i want to turn into images made up out of candy/chocolates/lollies. So i would supply a number of portraits of people and a selection of individual candy/chocolates/lollies, and the task is to recreate a reasonably accurate image created entirely from the candy/lollies. The 3 x random object images attached are the kind of end result we are looking to achieve. I imagine you would need to contour the candy/chocolates/lolly images supplied, and lay them over the image until you have recreated the image. Obviously it does not need to be 100% lifelike, but it would need to be recognisable as being a recreation of the original image. If you have any questions, please ask. Before awarding this project i will need to be confident you a) understand is what is required and b) are capable of producing something that meets our requirements. We would produce just one initially and if that is successful, we would then look at producing a full series of these. All images supplied here are low-res images only. There are many more types of candy/lollies available to use as components. If the job goes ahead we will supply high res images. We would consider alternative methods of creating this (ie 3d illustration) as long as they are life-like.
