Create a website that can become a worldwide business

I manage a business that has done very well for me and I have no desire to leave it. However, in my business, I have realized there is a tremendous need for a particular web concept that you would think for sure exists somewhere, but I assure you it does not.

Why doesn't it exist? Because there is no way to monetize it. Although this website will be completely different than any website ever made, the great leap isn't in the novelty of the website, the great leap is in the monetization of the process.

Here's what I want: I want someone who is singularly magnificent at building state-of-the-art websites. Maybe not you who is reading this, maybe a friend or a colleague...and of course, maybe you. But there's a reason there is no website like this: This website is going to incredibly challenging to build.

Oh, and it's 100% sweat equity. We'll split the company 50/50, period. Other people who come into the fold will come out of each of our pockets 50/50 (namely investors) so you have every bit as much say as me. Heck, you built it, you deserve 50%, maybe more, but you're only getting 50%.

Let's talk a little more about the business itself: While I cannot tell you the exact nature of the business for proprietary reasons, I use the analogy of a garden where folks can visit for fun and read other people's recipes, or even contribute recipes themselves. It is the contribution and commentary about the recipes that ultimately creates the garden.

Let's talk about "The Garden." For starters, it needs to literally have the look and feel of Google Earth because that is CRITICAL for the website. Without that, this is merely data compilation and a total waste of time.

There are really 4 websites that share things in common with my idea and they are: 1 - Google Earth since that is the look I am after. 2 - Facebook, since people will comment, like and dislike, leave responses for and against, repost and that sort of thing. 3 - YouTube, since people will be able to post and view audio and video files and comment by text, audi and video. 4 - ebay, since people will buy or bid towards purchasing what they are seeing, hearing and/or watching. Beyond that there has to be a language translator since this is worldwide, legal disclaimers and Paypal or the equivalent.

So, in a nutshell: Say I have posted a recipe and that recipe takes the shape of a sprout. I post it on facebook and such, trying to get friends and social network friends to like it or comment on it so that it will grow. It eventually grows into a big plant in the tomato section of the garden. Someone is looking for recipes for tomatoes and while searching through the tomato patch they see my plant and want to place a bid on my recipe. They bid $1 and I turn that offer down. So they offer $5 and I like that offer. So I have 2 choices: First they can buy it right now and I get $2.50 and the website gets $2.50. Second, I can open up a 7 day or 30 day bid for my recipe and the clock starts ticking. People will obviously search by "soon-to-end" or "most bids" type recipes as well as simply looking through the garden to make their own discoveries. Most people will look for the largest plants or biggest fruits, but the more intrepid researchers will search down to just the bare sprouts. I foresee entire teams working for big companies doing just that, all day, every day. People who haven't visited the site in a while will be amazed how different it looks and how much more lush it is, which is why it needs to be photo-realistic.

The YouTube section is more difficult to talk about since it gives away too much of the project. But it will allow for a distinctive form of criticism, and these "critics" will be invaluable. And wealthy.

Although I prefer an American partner so that we are both protected by the same laws and I would be thrilled if you (or the people you share this with) are in or near the Seattle area, I am open-minded if you are the right candidate.
