Build a Teacher - Student Website

Hello, I am thinking of building some kind of Teacher - Student ( as I call it ) website but I don't really know how to do this.
The main idea would be like this:
- the website would be split in 2 parts:
- the teacher view.
- the student view.
When you are logged in as a teacher, you can post homeworks, quizes, you can check your students grades.
When you are logged in as a student, you can see those homeworks and quizes, you can see only your grades and assignments, etc.
Please write in your bid what method would you use to do something like this. I may select one of you to help me with this project.
