Many decades ago a renowned electrical engineer was called in on a problem at a large industrial facility - a problem that had been boggling their finest engineers for over a week bringing production to a near halt. Upon his arrival he asked to see the building's electrical diagrams and looked them over for all of five minutes before he decided he had identified the problem. Leaving the diagrams on the table he grabbed a ladder and carried it across the facility until he reached his destination. Here, he placed the ladder against a wall and climbed upward. Once at the top of the ladder he withdrew a piece of chalk from his pocket and made an X upon he wall. "You'll find your problem here", he stated confidantly to the engineers on the scene who had followed him. He then climbed down and went home. The company's engineers opened the wall where the X had been placed and soon found the problem that had perplexed them for so long. A week later the company received a bill for $1,000.00 - a truly princely sum in those bygone days, and even in these times, for such a short span of labor. Enraged the company sent out an angry letter demanding an itemized billing of the charges. When the bill was sent it listed only two items: "making chalk mark on wall - $1.00, knowing where to make chalk mark on wall - $999.00." ----- Working on mock-ups now, please see PMB tomorrow. Will be well worth $1,000.00 but I suppose $100.00 will suffice. I guess I can console myself that I saved a dollar not needing to use up any chalk.
