Me and my partner are designers with prior experience in a variety of visual arts, architecture and industrial design. We wish to venture into fashion, and have been doing various personal projects. A few of our designs include various garments for women in Indian Traditional style and certain garments from reused cloth. Since these projects are personal ones, we haven't documented them. But if you wish, I am willing to share photos through a separate channel. Our overall design thought process is placed over a concrete understanding of what your fundamental requirements are. This is necessary as we require a certain level of freedom, but we would maintain our product character within these fundamentals. Our strength includes patterns, geometrical and colour theory, anthropometric understanding, knowledge of various fabrics, weaving and embroidery techniques along with a strong aesthetic sense and knowledge of various styles and cultures with a particular inclination to East Indian designs. Our prime weakness would be the lack of a complete understanding in the production process of the final design, due to our lack of experience. If you feel comfortable with working on this project with fairly inexperienced professionals, give us a try.
