ASP Website to CD-ROM

Hi, I have 5+ years of experience. Developed various projects in .Net with MsSql database. Infact, 90% of the projects done so far are in ASP, which includes simple dynamic page to complex ecommerce related websites. Yes, you are right, to run offline the ASP pages, required IIS server. Best will be to convert to HTML pages and burn to CD. The only concern will be the form as I can see there is contact us form. There what we can do is, if the client has internet, it will post the data through web. I'm an expert with 18 years of experience. I have just completed a similar project on this site. Another alternative could be to create an EXE which comprises the whole content and can be browsed by the user who runs the CD.

There are good extractor programs that can perfectly pull the text and images from a website and represent them in file-structure on a drive, which then can be burned on a CD-ROM. Here are a couple problems to consider: 1) Is the size greater than 740mb-800mb... the size of a CD-ROM. Easily images on a website can send the size greater than the "Ancient" size of a CD-ROM. 2) Are there active parts of the website? Say a login screen. Client side code, such as Javascript, JQuery, and other such code will run. But the server-side ASP Code "WILL NOT RUN" from a CD-ROM. - (As a work-around, these pages can be hard-coded.) Hi, My proposal to install a machine with iis and install the asp application on it. So that local users can access over the intranet. If it is single user , install the iis on the local pc and load the database in to it. I can do this over RDP. please let me know.
