android customized soft keyboard

I need a virtual keyboard which has focus on its key. Usually, on regular android virtual keyboard the focus is always on the TextField. We can not change the focus on virtual keyboard's key. So far the focus comes only when we press with touchpad or mouse. But I want to select letters from my external keyboard's arrow keys. After selecting the text, the focus again should go back to the TextField/search/ enter filed so that after hitting the enter key the event executes. In a word, I want a virtual keyboard, which can be operatable by using only arrow keys and enter key from hard keyboard. There is a bottleneck of using external arrow keys that is once you select the letters how you would go back to the text filed? There could be another button which can be solely used for changing the focus selection.
