There is some C code that has two functions we need: 1) generates a checksum of a file 2) compares two checksums and gives a score The code is in C, we need this in pure Java code. You find the C project at [login to view URL] Look on the presentation, it explains the algorithm and has code snippets: [login to view URL] There is also a paper: [login to view URL] I don't need the full code converted to Java, what I need is to simply generate the same hash result and then compare hashes. Usually I get a few automated bots answering with proposals. To save both our time, please add "Hi captain" when you write a proposal for this task.
