I want to create a trading simulator for Commodities, to train my dealing team. This will be a system used by 10-15 users, that could in future extend to about 50 clients. Each user will have an individual trading limit. Using an API of a Broker such as Interactive Brokers, there will be a feed coming into our server, and each of the client (users) should be able to get live prices on their own screens. There will be real-time margins that will be calculated and user should not exceed that margin. The user should be able to place/ modify / cancel orders. At a net level, I want to be seeing what is the total buy/sell orders each dealer is placing, and what is the net exposure. If there is a disconnection, and a user reconnects, he should be able to see any orders that he has placed etc. There is no order matching needed, only I need to train the dealers to know how to place orders and how the net exposure is calculated at the firm level. There may be 3-4 reports that will be needed about orders/trades, profit & loss, net position summary
