Will need more details for the same. I have worked with Apache Kafka and Apache storm and as you said, you must have implemented kafka spout and need to process data. There are two aspects either you need to pull some data using hadoop from an hfds cluster and use it to process data recieved from kafka or process data recieved from kafka to hadoop cluster. Both the bolts can be created using similar code but will need your help to understand a problem further and solve the same. Waiting for your reply, Regards, Abhilash Bhargava
