The project is to develop a basic data gathering application to run on a linux machine - the OS is linux Angstrom 2.6 we cannot change the OS. I've attached a flowchart of the project and a basic working .pdf. I will supply all artwork in whatever format is required. I can also supply a full working windows based version of the application so that you can see how it all works (although it is not complicated). The application that is built needs to retrieve some data from a web source - we are able to define that websource and how we access and/or retrieve the data. Have a look at the attached files and it should make sense. I'm looking for someone who can do the job, a timeframe to do it and obviously a cost for doing it. Please have a look at the (attached) files before responding. thanks

Hi, as you can see from my portfolio I have a considerable amount of experience developing applications under Linux, including on touch-friendly embedded platforms. I also have prior experience with Angstrom and the OpenEmbedded build system from their usage on Sharp Zaurus devices. I would propose developing the application using the QT and QML framework to allow for rapid development of an attractive and touch friendly UI (I've used QT in the past for touch-friendly projects on the MeeGo and Mer platforms), however I'd also be perfectly comfortable developing the application using GTK (I used to be a core developer on the Jokosher audio editor which involved many custom GTK components, so I'm also very familiar wtih GTK). Thanks for considering my bid.
