Create Similar DNN Events Calendar for ASP.NET C# MVC RAZOR

We need to have an online events calendar written. I want to create similar [login to view URL] events calendar but need it written in asp.net MVC3 in C# with MS SQL 2008 database. We would like to have it written as a stand alone MVC project. As far as the database design is concerned you can follow the dnnevents pattern, just get rid of all the dnn fields like PortalID, ModelID etc... It should be pretty straight forward since you can access the source code and db table structure here [login to view URL] It's needs to follow Microsoft best practices. Repository pattern etc... The only other addition is Bulk event import (csv / excel). Look into this and suggest a way to get this incorporated. Desired Skills C#, mvc3, razor, sqlserver2008
