EA Requirements Indicators Used o The GANN HiLO o or The GANN HiLO Activator SSL • Settings o Place one GANN on the chart set to 7 periods o Place another GANN on the chart set to 42 Open a buy order: 1. Price must close above both GANN lines for a BUY SIGNAL event. 2. BUY @ MARKET on the open of the next candle after a SIGNAL event. Open a sell order: 1. Price must close below both GANN lines for a SELL SIGNAL event. 2. SELL @ MARKET on the open of next candle after SELL SIGNAL EVENT. NO “OPENNING TRADE” CONDITION 1. While price closes between the GANNs, no new trading condition exists. Exit Rules: 1. STOP LOSS as calculated. 2. STOP LOSS plus X (additional added pips to calculated SL) 3. Minimum STOP LOSS 4. EXIT when price crosses either GANN in opposite direction and closes 5. TP1= value of SL x .5 a. Close 1/3 of the trade and Move SL to BE. b. TP1 is on client side machine and not visible to broker. c. Exit will be at market 6. TP2= value of SL x 1.5 a. Close 1/3 of the trade. b. TP2 is on client side machine and not visible to broker. c. Exit will be at market. 7. TP3= Exit when price crosses either GANN in opposite direction and closes. a. Close the final 1/3 of the trade. STOP LOSS RULE: 1. Initial Stop Loss’s value will be set to the value of the GANN that is closest to price at the time of the close of the signal candle. 2. All stop losses will be VIRTUAL and will not reside on the broker’s server. The will reside on client side machine. 3. At time of SL trigger, execute an appropriate market order (Long or Short) External Variables: Risk percentage= 2% //percent of acct to risk in calculating trade size Use Risk % = T/F //True = Use risk % of account, False = Used Fixed Lot size below Lot size = .1 lot //number of standard lots to trade TP1 = .5 // factor for profit based on value of SL. ( example: SL= 42, TP1= 21) TP2 = 1.5 // factor for profit based on value of SL. ( example: SL= 42, TP1= 63) TP3 = 2.0 // factor for profit based on value of SL. ( example: SL= 42, TP1= 84) TP3UseSIGNAL = T/F // This tells EA to ignore setting for TP3 above and wait for a GANN Cross of the GANN and CLOSE to exit the TP3 Minimum SL = 30 //minimum SL in pips. There are times when calculated SL is too small so we will use a minimum if calculated is below this amount. Ignore Min SL = T/F //tells EA to use the minimum if calculated SL is insufficient or to ignore the minimum setting. Additional SL = 10 //will add to calculated SL if volatility is high or for optimization Money Management is a Pyramid strategy: 1. Total trade size based on calculated lot size is placed at entry signal event. 2. TP1 is reached when trade is in profit by 1/2 the distance/value of the SL. 3. TP2 is reached when trade is in profit by 1.5 times the distance/value of SL. 4. TP3 is reached one of two ways based on setting of variable. a. When an EXIT SIGNAL by price crossing GANN in opposite direction and closing or; b. Fixed level of 2.5 times the distance/value of SL.
