Convert perl script into powershell script

I have a perl script to measure how long it takes to run a command. I would like that script to be migrated to a powershell script to be run in windows servers. The command will be defined in a variable but by default it will be httest (available at [url removed, login to view]). Parameters passed to the script will be passed to the command.

This powershell script will be then integrated with the nagios client (nsclient++) so it can be remotely execute. Check this for reference: [url removed, login to view]

Acceptance of this job requires the script to run properly in one of my windows azure servers both directly and through nsclient++.
