Hi i would like to setup a particular server under Linux. The idea is to have a DNS server who will redirect selected queries to a PROXY Server. The DNS server and the proxy server should run on a single server. I will need to reproduce this configuration by myself on other servers. As I'm not a linux expert, I will need a tutorial helping me to setup this configuration by myself. This tutorial must be a step by step tutorial so anyone having linux basics should be able to follow this tutorial. I will provide a VPS to work with. The server must run Linux Debian with BIND as DNS Server and SniProxy as proxy Server. This is a start guide build the server: [login to view URL] As I'm not linux expert, didn't succeed folowing this guide. So I need a more detailed guide for a configuration on a single server(BIND and SNIPROXY). The Proxy server must be secured by IP filtering. It's up to you to choose by which mechanism. The Proxy server will be accessible only to IP adress listed in a Mysql database. The database server can be installed on the same server. THis is what you have to do 1. Build the solution on the VPS i will provide 2. Write a step by step tutorial helping me to reproduce the configuration on another server. 3. The tutorial will also explain how to add a new domain adress to the DNS and to the Proxy server.
