I have thousands of photo files that need to be re-named. I need an application that I can run on my Mac that will find and replace all instances of a set of numbers based on an excel spreadsheet file. The spreadsheet will have two columns with headers: "FIND" and "REPLACE". All of the photos will be loaded into the application at once, then the spreadsheet is loaded, then the application adjusts the file names.
For example:
Here is an example file name:
01-002-Photo A
The excel spreadsheet would read:
FIND:
01-002
REPLACE:
06-003
The resulting filename would be changed to:
06-003-Photo A
I need the application to be capable of processing thousands of photos at the same time. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.
