## Deliverables
I have an ongoing project - an ASP.NET intranet application using a lot of Javascript (especially ExtJS).
**I need a developer that can work on this project side-by-side with me.**
# 1. Requires Skills
The skills required for the developer are related to the technologies used with the project:
* **C#/ASP.NET/AJAX** (.NET 3.5) - no VB accepted instead of C#
* **[login to view URL]**
* **Javascript**
* **ExtJS 2.0** (optional) - a Javascript RIA framework (like DOJO or YUI)
* **HTML/CSS**
* **SQLServer 2005/2008** (we are using just a few stored procedures, mostly just basic SQL statements)
The developer will receive tasks within this area of competency and she/he is required to fulfill them.
# 2. Development Process
I am a very strong supporter of Agile development and I will require the developer to use
**SCRUM**. Being familiar with it is not a requirement as this is not difficult to learn. We will have an online scumboard where tasks will be followed on a daily basis. We will have a daily short meeting (10 mins) for briefing progress, plans and any eventual problems. We will have 3 week sprints with clear tasks and targets. We will do task estimations together.
The knowledge will be shared on the project from a wiki. I will update the wiki to enrich the knowledge of project members and the developer can use it to learn more about the parts of the project where she/he will be involved.
# 3. Collaboration
I will provide tools for collaboration like a wiki and a bug tracking system. We can use email and instant messaging for communication.
# 4. Payment
The bid will be for the first sprint (3 weeks). The winner of the bid will participate on the first sprint (3 week development phase). If nothing goes wrong, the same developer will be offered the same rate for another sprint and so on. Should future sprints differ in length the payment would be proportionally adapted.
At the end of a sprint, some defects may be found. The developer is required to fix them.
One week means Monday-Friday by the usual western (Gregorian) Calendar. Some exceptions can be made/negotiated.
One day is usually 8-hours or work. If the situation is different than that, the bid should clearly specify it.
# 5. Delivery
The developer is required to deliver the tasks as estimated with me at the beginning of the sprint. In case there are delays, the developer needs to offer a good justification for them. If there is no such a justification, then the payment will be reduced accordingly.
A good justification means proof that the task wasn't well estimated and that unplanned issues came up. There will be a re-estimation of the task including the unplanned issues and work will continue. In order to fit in the 3-week sprint, some tasks may probably be postponed for the next sprint. The developer will not be agglomerated with supplementary unplanned for tasks.
I work is delayed because the developer isn't attending her/his work, the not worked time will not be payed for. If the situation continues and affects the delivery, the collaboration will cease and no further payment will be made.
