ASP.net VB Conn. String for MySQL

I have an ASP.net VB project that was written for database connection to MS Access. Now I need to convert to MySQL and haveing difficulty connecting correctly. An example of existing is : Dim connString As String connString = "PROVIDER=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;DATA SOURCE=" & " d:\html\users\lescom\database\[login to view URL]" Dim objConnection As OleDbConnection objConnection = New OleDbConnection(connString) [login to view URL]() Dim strSQL As String = "SELECT * FROM Category" Dim objCommand As OleDbCommand objCommand = New OleDbCommand(strSQL, objConnection) Dim objDataReader As OleDbDataReader objDataReader = [login to view URL]([login to view URL]) While [login to view URL]() If objDataReader("ID") = Val(Cat) Then [login to view URL] = objDataReader("CategoryInstructions") End If End While [login to view URL]() ------------------------------------------ I am keeping the data structure the same so just need to be able to conver the existing data connection to the appropriate MySQL configuration. ## Deliverables Just need an example of correct connection that I can replace my current connections with to get access to the data. ## Platform ASP.net VB
