Seeking consultation with experienced corporate developer concerning porting an Access/VBA/SQL Server based application to a web browser Intranet-based (or possibly ASP application).
Specifically, I need to create a high level project plan to outline the components, tools and technology needed for migration. I'm looking for advice concerning the best means of identifying what is necessary to create a subset prototype application.
Therfore, I'm looking for someone who has worked in a midsize or large organization environment, working with multiple teams handling application development, administration, testing/release control and other pre and post production elements and insight on their roles and concerns.
Discussions would cover web browser issues (likely all IE 6+ on XP), middleware issues - IIS, .NET framework, Crystal Enterprise, SQL Server 2000 and potential SQL Server 2005 uses. Some questions would be high level others may be detailed - specific to technologies.
Consultation would be in the form of email, phone, question/answer, etc., and would be 5-7 hours over the course of a week.
An additional Rentacoder project could involve assisting with generation of graphical workups in Visio and Powerpoint
