I am inviting bids? for a 3 phased initiative.? At this time I am requesting bids for Phase 1 of the project.
Phase 1 includes building a basic social networking site that allows for -
1. Home page
2. Signup of new users
3. Profile creation/edit - adding networks, interests, etc
4. Adding/managing friends
5. Exchanging emails among friends
6. Activity feed (like facebook news feed) - ability to post question/link/comment, reply to comments, list all friends activities
7. Main Landing page (registered users land here after signup)
8. Search on the site
High level Wireframes will be provided to get a more detailed understanding.
Upon successful completion of Phase 1, Phase 2 will include building Tools and Phase 3 is the Analytics phase.
At this time bids are invited only for Phase 1.
## Deliverables
The site will need internalization feature - ability to show the site in mulitple languages.? Initially the site will be in English and moving forward I need to enable more languages.

Some more clarfications on the requirements - The site will not have fancy GUI requirements. I want to focus on the functionality and have a clean simple design. Its mostly traditional GUI but needs to be neat and clean, easy on the eyes and for usability. The search on the site is mostly restricted to content and data on the site. 90% of the search will be database driven meaning look for the search term in the applications database. Simple google search box will not work and I am not looking for text ads etc. I have not read in detail but maybe the zoom solution works..i dont know but hoping you get the idea of the requirement. Bottom line look for the search term in the database and display results by categorizing it under various heads. Also I would like to stick to .Net and not keep on PHP solutions.
