We are interested in modifying the blog [login to view URL] The designer is encouraged to suggest improvement and the final work should look professional and apealing. The modification will be to ad another item: "Reader's Ranking of Healthcare Blogs". On the main page a smaller image will be displayed with top 10 blogs, title and current rank. It should inform people to submit their blogs as well as vote for the existing. A click will take the voter to full page for either total listing with also link for submitting new blog. Each of the blog will have button for voting by its side. The vote button will take to the voting form. A voter will be taken to a form where it will have to provide mandatory and voluntary information A voter should not be able to vote twice in let us say 1 month period. The information need for voting should be name, email, business name, and current title of position held. A person submitting a new blog must provide name, email, phone, company name, blog name, blog address, and title of the position in the company The blog submitter for the listing should have credential validated....such as they might get email and click back to validate. For this, an initial list of blogs with ranking "with score and number of voters" will be provided. With every vote the ranks may change and so would the listing sequence Blogs will be listed by current ranking The voter will be asked to pick one of these from the list "Very Poor, Poor, Better than Poor, below average, average, above average, less than good, good, very good, excellent" in a row or column form with the option to check the box associate with it. Each of these will get a respective value (not visible to anyone) would be 0, 1, 4, 9, 16, 25, 36, 49, 64, 81 The voting page also list the possible criteria: Quality, Relevance, Scope, Innovation, Diversity, Focus, Clarity, and Service for Greater Good. May be the vote slection will be arranged in columns and these would be put in another column to the side in a bulletized form. After voting the score would be: Old Score + Value from New Vote/(Number of Voters before the vote +1). Check: Maximum score would be always between 0 and 81. The new display would show how many slots the blog has moved with new vote (column 1 rank, column 2 number slots moved, column 3 name of the blog with link, column 4 vote button for that particular blog) In case of conflict, blog with larger number of voters will be ranked higher followed by alphabetical Must provide code for people to display medal of rank on their blog. Will use Bipro Logo and BIPRO Health The blog comment form, voting form, and submission form..all should have validation text. The validation text should be easy to read. Many websites use these but it is too difficult to read turning off visitors. Please not that we like the current design. That should provide a good idea on the expectations. Work will be considered complete once the site is up and running and seems stable. We would also like to add on current comment form as well as voting and new submission form a easier to read version of validation form to reduce, if not elinminate, spam traffic.
