Development and support of Internet based community system

The nature of the requirement is the support of and on-going development for an established, Internet based suite of applications. The system is a large shared, collaborative environment that is used by individuals, companies and non-profit organisations for sharing information within and outside their company. This is an off-the-shelf type product where the individual or company simply registers and starts using it. There is a wide variety of applications including document management, contact management, calandar/diary, bulk email management, content management and more. Some uses for this system are intranet, extranet, building communities and a personal internet desktop. The current requirement is to complete some modifications and enhancements to the contact system, to set up an email server and integrate our contact system with Outlook and outlook express so it can access email addresses from the contact system. The long term hope is that we can develop a relationship with a programmer for ongoing contract work. These projects can start immediately. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be prepared and delivered as follows: a) Development will be done on an environment that will be provided to the coder via VPN. b) The coder will complete the work on a development enviromment and the code will then be moved by the company, to a testing enviroment. c) The coder will then assist the tester to system test the modifications. Any fixes required that are consistent with the requirement will then be done by the coder and the cycle is then repeated. 2)Assistance with questions and issues related to any integration or environmental issues will be provided to the coder by Adapt IT staff. 3) The email server already exists. It must be examined by the developer, fixed as required and thoroughly tested. 4) Assistance will be given to the developer to complete the integration of Outlook with our contact system. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
