I am looking for a programmer to create a decorator using another algoithmn within a Network Analyst Extention.
I want to incorporate a Clarke and Wright heuristic algorithm for the vehicle routing path algorithmn to the Network Analyst Extention. The algorithmn will be written by another programmer.
The existing NARouteSolver (i.e., a wrapper object that has an actual route solver as an internal private member variable, for which it replicates all necessary interfaces, such as INASolver, INASolverSettings, etc. and delegates all calls directly to the internal solver, except for those method calls that it wants to “decorate?? with additional behavior)
Basically, as the devloper, you could “decorate?? the Solve method, by having the heuristic read the necessary stop information from the NAContext, perform the clustering [might need to generate an OD cost matrix to do this as well], then assign each stop a RouteName field value based on the determined cluster ID, and then delegate the rest of the actual route solving to the route solver object by calling Solve on the private member).
This is the basic Decorator design pattern, and most software developers will be familiar with this. Using such an approach would greatly shorten the development schedule for embedding your custom logic into the Network Analyst framework (assuming the developer knew what they were doing). However, to do this would require someone quite familiar with the Network Analyst API, Network Analyst coding protocols.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
