DirectX/ATL Video OCX and Encoder Filter

The project is a video ActiveX control in ATL that needs finishing up. It is currently using DirectX 9 and the video mixing renderer 9. It needs to: 1. Play video of any format playable through Media Player. This is currently using DX9 and the VMR9 to do this. 2. Display still video with an adjustable time that the picture is displayed. 3. Have a encoder program and a filter that will be automatically inserted into the graph (a different registered file type that would contain the video). 4. Switch subtitles on the fly from an OGM file. 5. Pass events back to the container (the container will probably be VB6): Sequence Finished PlayState Changed Any others that are nessesary This should work in modal as well as non-modal forms. From what I have read, this would indicate that this be an automation server as well, so that it can be placed on modal forms. 6. Fix the drawing functionality. Currently, drawing on the video flickers as the drawing operations are re performed when on the still video as well as the running graph. Also, the 7. The GUI on the bottom should look like Media Player 6.4, with the addition of draw/undo/redo/clear controls. Notable areas that need to be fixed are: the slider bar flickers; it does not have the two black pixels at the middle-top and bottom of the trackbar thumb to look like Media Player. The volume control does not redraw the top and bottom of the thumb correctly. --------------------------------- The remaining notes are continued under platforms....there was not enough room... --------------------------------- NOTE: We have attached a sample app and the activex control(dll) that requires registration through regsvr32. We have provided a debug version of the dll and an app written in VB6 for testing/demonstration. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows 32bit (Win95, 98, ME, NT SP4, 2000, XP) ---------------- 8. Undo/Redo need to be fixed. 9. The "Spray" drawing tool needs to work when paused. Currently, it draws into the VMR well, but not the window DC. 10. The drawing tools currently write both into an alpha bitmap for the VMR9, and also write directly onto the video window's DC. The result is that when the screen resolution is very high and the video is paused and thus writing onto the window DC, once the video starts playing and uses the alpha bitmap for the VMR9, the drawing suddenly gets pixellated. The current picture of the video can be captured as a bitmap, with any drawing produced. Thus, what is drawn on the screen should be what is drawn to the bitmap, exactly. Currently, when paused since the video will not reflect any DC drawing, it saves the picture to a temp file and then redraws and re saves the picture.
