civicrm event registration for golf - need foursome fields

Bidder must be familiar with CiviCRM and the event module. We have a basic event, we need to make it easy for an entire golf foursome to register - this is 4 individuals who buy one registration. I believe a custom profile is needed but would prefer someone else to figure this out for me due to time constraints. This is for a nonprofit fundraiser.
