Booting from flash cards

We currently use HP jornada's the 420,525,548 to run software. But in our application we are required to leave the units for prolonged periods of time without charging but when the batteries do eventually go flat the we lose all the memory stored in the unit. Can someone make these units boot from a CF card instead of having to restore the memory to the system again ## Deliverables Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
