We are? trying to find a way to determine the gender (male/female) of first names.
We have a MS Access database with people's names.? Basically one table with one of the fields is FirstName.? We need a way? to determine the gender of a first name (male, female, or probability of being either male or female).
I am interested to hear from you if you know a source for determining the gender of a name, but don't know how to implement the solution in a MS Access database.
As stated, a key is to provide? a 'source' or program to use (similar to? <[url removed, login to view]>).
Ideally the end result would be a routine to check each first name in the table to determine if it were male or female and store the result in another field.? We would also need the ability to do this on one name at a time while a user enters a information from a form.
