Create a spreadsheet from a text file using c# .net 2005
Im giving you 3 Files:
AuditTrailLegend -June2106 &
AuditTrailUnformatted -June2106
AuditTrailFormatted -June2106
Read AuditTrailLegend so you know what is the combination of stocks,
Use the input AuditTrailUnformatted to be in an excel spreadsheet like AuditTrailFormatted
Name the worksheets within the file after the Fund symbol name. (See how this is done in the example)
The colors are done as “IN-IN-IN-out?? would be colored “grey-grey-grey-white??
In the AuditTrailLegend the top cell shows the fund stock. Below that are the 2 "basket" stocks. All 3 are traded together, so look for the trades to come in groups of three or Buy-Sell-Sell ("BSS") combinations.
To group and order the trades, say you have a B-S-S of YLY, EIS and ID. Then you must recognize that they are part of the first trading strategy. Therefore, they should go in the worksheet titled "YLY-1" (IE the #1 YLY trading strategy, the strategy in the first AuditTrailLegend column) . Yes, this means that subsequent YLY-related strategies are named “YLY-2??, “YLY-3?? and so on.... DO nNOT spearte groups of trades according to the fund, because the fund might be used in multiple strategies. Groups of trades can only be positively identified by checking the whole set (of 3 stocks in this case)
Each column of AuditTrailLegend shows a group of 2 or more stocks (in this example its 3 stocks), a fund stock and 2 or more equity stocks. Each time a combination of them occurs, that is either an "In Trade" or "Out Trade". For instance, if 3 in-trades occur consecutively, then group them (as 9 individual trades) and shade them grey. After that 1-3 Out-trades may occur, so group them together and color them white. Consecutive In-trades or out-trades get grouped and colored.
