CD-ROM Disc Security

I am building a flash application that will be distributed on a CD-ROM. I need to create protection for the CD-ROM in two ways:
1. We don't want people to be able to run the flash exe file while it is not on the CD-Rom. We should be able to do this by getting the flash application to check the available space on the current drive it is being run from; if it's more than zero then it won't run because it is not on the CD. This shouldn't be too much trouble. This should be easy to create with zinc: [login to view URL]
2. We don't want people to be able to use a copied CD-ROM. I have seen this done in an authorware application made a few years ago. I'm not sure exactly how this was achieved, but I do know that the authorware file called a dll file to check the number of tracks on the CD. I was given the following explanation from the authorware developers. It isn't very easy to understand:
Disk Protection: Reads the number of tracks on a CD
eg: we write 7 tracks of mixed variety to a CD that CD writers wont write
We just need to confirm there a 7 tracks on hte CD when we start the flash file.
/************************************************************ aUTHORWARE CODE USED /*****************************************************************
sendKey := 143352
retKey := futCheckCD(sendKey, 0)
retKey := retKey - 162534
if sendKey <> retKey then
SystemMessageBox(WindowHandle, "A copy protection error has occured.\r\rPlease contact Futura Training on 1300 651 040\ror by emailing info@[login to view URL]", "Futura Training", 16) --

If this sounds something you may be able to do, please make a bid. If you have any questions or would like to see an example of the dll file used in the authorware application, please let me know.
