Add functionality to a website, then convert it into a Wordpress template.

The Improve Your Practice website is a live functioning website, and I have several development projects to be completed on it. These jobs are listed below, and are to be completed in no particular order. You may find it easier to make the site a template before completing the other jobs for example. The first three jobs listed here must be the first you complete. 1) Create a beta version of the website. As this website is a functioning, live website before you do anything I need you to create an exact clone of the site, that can be accessed by visiting the IP address such as [login to view URL] This way I can be sure that there is no way for the site to be accidentally taken offline, which means I can avoid any disruption for my users. 2) Add functionality to easily create subdomains I need you to add the ability to easily create subdomains that are almost identical to the main site, but have some minor image or wording changes. 3) Change the signup form on the homepage I have some new embed code for the Mailchimp form on the home page. I would like this form adding to the website, and duplicating at the bottom of the site. And then some minor changes making to its functionality. (see attached document for further details) Release website for testing Once you’ve added the ability to create subdomains, I want you to release the website so I can begin using it (after testing of course!) this way I can use the new subdomain functionality while you continue to make the other functionality changes to the website. 3) Create a Custom Page Handler I need you to create a custom page handler that notes down the domain somebody came from to visit the site and then inputs that data into a hidden field in the Mailchimp forms on the homepage. I am happy to take your suggestions on how this would work. 4) Add the ability to track users who don’t double opt-in through Mailchimp 5) Analytics I want to set up Google Analytics to track the following: • Each of my old websites, which redirects to this new one. I believe this would involve working on those old websites. • Number of visitors to the IYP website (regardless of whether they sign up or not) • Number of times each resource on the Instant Library is downloaded. 6) Conversion to a template I don’t know whether it would be better to make the site a template before or after completing the above jobs, but either way the website needs converting to be a fully functioning Wordpress template, that is entirely customisable within the Wordpress UI. This is because I plan to use this website as a template to create more websites in the future. 7) Assist with changes after I’ve completed User Acceptance Testing. This may involve slightly changing the layout of the website or changing the header image for example. Therefore it may be best to account for these changes as extra works, and additional payments.
