I need a coder who's comfortable with software design, computer vision, image segmentation, edge detection, learning algorithm and interface design.
The project needs a computer vision algorithm that detects reliably proximal caries from bitewing x-rays and will learn more.
The caries is gray area (radioluscent) in the contact points of teeth (please see the attachment. The are in red circles).
The app should be able to circle suspect areas as mentioned. App should be able to find the areas anywhere
from the display i.e. from any windows or current view of desktop with opened windows.
App interface should float over all the other opened windows and have three buttons with certain commands: 1) execute the script, 2) hide circles/show circles 3) re-execute the script
Minimize and quit buttons on the top as well are required.
The algorithm should be so good that it detects reliably caries from other new sources with slightly different angulation (yet still parallel projection i.e. bitewing) of images and other variants different teeth etc.
The app is done when the algorithm finds 95% of the caries of new unseen before images from same projection.
I will provide the images for algorithm.
The application should run on both windows and macos.
Payment are done in three stages: basic algorithm and interface design, working algorithm and working interface, completed, working and reliable algorithm with completed app design for both macos and windows.
