**What is Assetlink? **AssetLink is a directory service that allows users to list products and services that are usefull to other people. It uses metadate to define attributes for the assets that are listed within it. **What is involved in building AssetLink? **The design and branding of an AssetLink site has already been created. All HTML and Graphics will be supplied to winning bidder along with a scope document detailing exactly how the software should work. However, the software created should be flexable enough to be rebranded for other applications. I have over 5 years experience in building and designing web applications so I have a good understanding of what is required and what works and does not work. I am open to suggestions about the project throughout the entire development process. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. The code should be bug free and execute quickly. The AssetLink program may have hundreds of users using it at once. The programmer should also supply a list of suitable web hosting companys that are able to run the AssetLink application. The programmer is welcome to host the software on their own web hosting system provided it meets the requirements of the software and me. ## Platform The program should be developed in PHP. I am flexible in what version is used. The database used with it can either be MySQL or Postgres. This is the programmers choice.
