CTL Project - Overhaul Website

This project has 4 distinct parts to it: -- overhaul current website to implement new designs (NB. already purchased & agreed) and pageflow -- integrate additional functionality into the site (forum, helpcentre) -- refine current interface with Nebu backend [Nebu knowledge not expected from a bidder; consultancy will be provided at Kikkup's cost] -- implement new functionality (Historical Polls) Further details can be found in the attached documentation. Suggested reading order is: -- Kikkup - A Brief Overview -- Agile Project Management Framework -- Source Version Control Procedures -- CTL Project - Overhaul Site Tender -- CTL Project - Website Content Our aim in providing these documents is to give as full an overview as possible, so please read them from start to end before submitting a bid. That having been said, at the time of posting the two "CTL Project" documents are currently only 90% complete - good enough for a bidder to understand our requirements but not quite as detailed as a bidder may like. We shall rectify this in the next few days but please feel confident that the content presented is good enough for bids to be made. Ultimately, Kikkup would like to develop "pools" of trusted third party freelancers through whom web-based products can be administered and refined as time goes by. We seek to implement best-of-breed solutions and so expect only the best-of-the-best freelancers will apply, no matter how narrow their focus. This project is being posted on more than one site in order to ensure a good range of quality responses. Bidders who are members of more than one site are welcome to bid through their preferred site as all bids will be judged equally no matter where they originate. Updated documentation has been uploaded (not many changes) plus screenshots of the basic design we're working on with another company. ## Deliverables The standard RentACoder deliverables are listed below. However please see attached documentation for Kikkup's own specific requirements. 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Bidders must meet the following requirements: -- proven track record of Mambo integration -- understanding of dotProject & Subversion -- knowledge of a proposed forum solution -- knowledge of a proposed helpcentre solution -- knowledge of Nebu [Kikkup to provide if required] Kikkup operates within the Agile development methodology and so are happy to receive proposals from companies who wish to bid for one part of the project as outlined, but not the whole package. We're therefore also interested in hearing from people who feel their expertese is in the "Speculate and Explore Parameters" section of the "CTL Project - Overhaul Site Tender" document.
