Configuring VOIP on asterisk server

We have following problem: Incoming calls from our VOIP provider to our asterisk server wich should forward it to a specific extension is not working. When we are contacted we can send server information (login etc) so you can debug. For an experienced VOIP & ASTERISK programmer this shouldnt be too difficult.
