Data Aquisition & Persistence

Data Logger software runs on a Single Board Computer. Software reads ASCII data on an RS232 port from a Data Aquisition System. It calculates averages over time and stores the data in flash memory before periodically transmitting the data via a 2nd RS232 port. If sucessful, additional capabilities will be added for Phase 2. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). 4) All software must meet the requirements defined in the SRS. ## Platform Puppy Linux running on a NorhTec SBC computer (also known as a eBox-2300). For development, Buyer will provide the SBC configured with a GNU C/C++ compiler and a DAS for generating test data. SBC supports X-windows & ethernet. This is an embedded application with no user interface.
