Develop a Drupal module using PHP

This project entails creating a module within Drupal that connects to a CouchDB instance and saves and retrieves documents. The amount of data is going to be quite minimal for this project. Note that we will be using CouchDB for only this module, the rest of the framework will continue to work as out of the box. I will provide access to a linux server where Couch DB and Drupal are installed. The requirements are very basic: - Add some documents in Couch DB Fields that are going to be stored in a document (Mobile #) (Name of Program) (Program ID #) - Display data from those documents in Couch DB (using map reduce and views) - Edit documents in Couch DB - Delete data in documents in Couch DB There are quite a few libraries in php that connects and work well with Couch DB. I am looking for recommendations to use one over the another.
