I have running Joomla 3.2.2 website on shared hosting on PHP 5.5 I want to migrate from shared server to my virtual private server (VPS). The VPS is already running on Ubuntu with installed Plesk Parallels 11.5 (I can install any Linux distribution if you want for example CentOS but you will have to install Plesk parallels for your self). I have licence for Plesk. But if you are familiar with Ubuntu it is already installed and running) I managed to migrate Joomla website using Akeeba backup component. The website is already on VPS and I see the Joomla files on server. Also DSN A-record is redirected from shared to VPS. BUT; When I go to my url I see internal server error. It is just a little trick (few clicks) for someone who understands Linux. So who is going to help me to get my Joomla website running on VPS.
