FIX is an open standard for transmitting financial transaction information electronically. You can browse the dataset at a site like: [login to view URL] and <[login to view URL]> I have a dataset that uses the same core dataset along with some custom extended tags. I want to document this dataset using a front end like [login to view URL] and a backend database or even XML files. I want the coder to develop a web front end to the mySQL DB in the background. Ideally the front end will be created in php or perl. Unlike fixionary the users should be able to edit the data from the page. It should be served from apache on a redhat platform. I will provide you the dataset in raw text format and you will format it and upload it into the DB. So to sum up, it is a web based application that allows me to view the core fix protocol messages and to add my own tags and descriptions. Upon completion you will have demonstrated the working final product with all the data from the various fix protocol versions available as on fixionary and the additional functionality of adding custom tags/messages and descriptions should be included. This will be done as work for hire and I will be the owner of all copyright once the project is completed. You should analyse the websites noted above and familiarise youself with the material and the protocol before bidding. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
