This project will give college students the ability to access and post information online about the classes they have taken at Carnegie Mellon University. ? The website will host a searchable database, which the user can search by keyword, professor, course number, or course name.? They will be presented with a list of results based upon their search where the results are displayed in three columns: course name, course number, course professor. ? If a user selects the button to add a new class they will be prompted with a brief survey (with questions and an answer field for each question) which will be used to make the first post and entry for their newly entered class.? If a user searches the database and accesses a specific entry, the user will be able to read any of the posts that are currently written, add a new post, or reply to a specific post in an indented comment below that post. ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? $0
## Deliverables
Atall times on the site there will be a button below the page content for userswho wish to add a new course to the database. ? If a user is looking at the posts for a particular class they will be able to give unhelpful posts a "thumbs down" rating or useful ones a "thumbs up" rating, which will help to bury useless posts while bringing more helpful ones to the top.? The user can sort the posts in chronological order (most recent ones on top) or by the most popular posts (determined by the entries with the most thumbs ups). ? If a user wants to add a post to a class from the database, that user will be prompted with the ten question survey (details attached). ? The user will fill out the survey questions (which can be both multiple choice and free response) which will provide the content of their post.? The user will have the additional option of commenting on a already existing post (through a simple text field displayed below the post) instead of going through the survey to create a completely new one.? $0$0$0$0We would like the ability to have administrator acces so that we can monitor any inappropriate or vulgar posts. ? $0$0$0$0$0I have attached some pictures of what we envision the site looking like. ? ? ? ? ? $0$0
