We are using WordPress as a CMS for a subscription site (some public pages and other private pages when the user is logged in.)
When the user click a link to view/edit their profile it goes to the /wp-admin/[login to view URL] page (and [login to view URL] as well) which has a completely different look than the main site and does not have the site navigation. To not confuse the user and keep continuity we need this page to have the main site template around it.
I am figuring one could use code like " if ($_SERVER['PHP_SELF'] == "/wp-admin/[login to view URL]") " to test for pages and do conditional customization on that page only.
We are using a <[login to view URL]> generated theme so it is pretty basic.
We also want the same customization occur on the login page.
The exception would be that an admin level login would need to see the default admin template on all the admin pages (but it would be ok for the admin it see the main theme template on the profile page.)
It must be noted that we are using an extra fields plugin for our need to add fields like business name, address fields, phone number fields, and extended bio.
Attached are screen shots of the main template page and the two admin type pages I am refering to which need the main template around it.
Only coders very familiar with WordPress need apply.
