I am looking for a developer to develop a computer parts database for me that will hold initially 45,000 part numbers. I have everything on an excel spreadsheet and the heading needed within the database are:- Manufacturer System Function Group Commodity Part No. Description Comments Alternative Part Replacement Part Price I have a website already that is a basic HTML parts quote request website. People currently just send us an enquiry to see if we have the part and we email back a quotation. However we would like people to be able to search for the parts based on a free text field search bar. If anything matches we would like a page come up that shows all the details of the parts available along with the price and then a simple button that the visitor can click to contact us regarding purchasing the item. (not online ordering) we will call them back but we will need to know what parts they have shown interest in. We have Windows Server hosting and can add SQL databases to this and could give a login and password to a specific hosting account just for the development of the database. Can anyone help

I can help you with this within 20 hrs to have a perfect job. All i need to do is use the sql loader from the enterprise manager of the oracle databse to load the excel sheets on the sql database... after that i need to write different sql queries that will display specific rows and columns. i'd like to see what you have, also from the enquiries i'd like to know which products or part numbers have the highest inquiries so as to be able to give multiple sql options. the different sql queries would be available on the free text field, you would be able to know all parts they have shown interest in with the number of sql queries they use.

Hi I had a project in which i had created and designed a database for a Call Support company. They gave me all the requirements like What sort of information they need to store Similarly If you can provide me with the details like - Break up all the fields of manufacturer eg Vendor Name, Address etc - Customer Details - Customer interest - Customer placed order (separate) This way your data will be free from - Update Anamolies - Delete Anamolies - Insert Anamolies Designing will be best (which means no repetition will be there in one table) Regards Anubhav Jain
