I am building an audio sharing service called AudioShout that is to be the continuation of a now dead project called AudEx. This service is written entirely in PHP and makes heavy use of MySQL. I am not very skilled in PHP myself so am looking for someone willing to help debug the service (audio uploads currently fail) and perhaps even enhance it by doing the following: (1) cleaning up code where ncessary, (2) converting mysql_* statements to use MySQLi (or, even better, PDO), (3) ensuring the service is secure, and (4) writing a new API in JSON or PHP (or improving the existing PHP API which many of the functions rely on). Unfortunately I don't have that much money to spend on this project but am looking for someone willing to tackle this for me and do a good job at it too. You will be credited on the AudioShout About page and through other areas of the service, as well as in the source code that is to eventually be released. See [login to view URL] for current view of the service (note not all links are working).
