Blog using Joomla or wordpress

I would like to setup a blog which is easy to update, add photos for articles, etc. I would like the following categories: Lifestyle Health Money & Career Entertainment Tech Business Aus & The World Videos Reader Contributions The layout should be similar to: <[login to view URL]> <[login to view URL]> [[login to view URL] W][1]ith the latest posts showing on the home page as well as space for google adwords advertising which does not dominate the page. I would like to be able to write articles for each category, upload a picture for the articles headline and assign it to a category easily. People should also be able to sign up, leave comments and write their own articles in the "readers contribution" section. Thanks
