Create a Google Chrome extension for me that will pull the view source code of the current webpage and save it to a file.

I have an internet explorer toolbar written in C# that allows me to click a button and retrieve the source of the currently viewed website and save it to a file (basically doing a view source on the webpage). Most of the sites I use it on contain many iframes so there's special code to handle the task. I need a google chrome version created to do exactly the same thing and possibly firefox later.
